There is a small town on EuroVelo R2, the European cycle route. Gostynin, which is often called “the green lung of Mazovia”, is a place with interesting history.
Being in Gostynin, you can find a lot of forests and lakes. A part of them is under protection as they belong to The Gostynin-Włocławek Landscape Park. That is the reason why this town is so frequently visited by the tourist seeking the contact with nature. The stay in Gostynin guarantees relax and rest. This nice location and features of the town became the part of its promotion.
The municipal authorities decided to be consequent and they provided greenery to urban space. The Flower Towers with red pelargonium flower appeared among trees. The entrance of the town hall wasn't forgotten as well. If anyone has doubts if Gostynin is a really green town, let them see the photos of the centre.
The municipal authorities of Gostynin bought Terra Flower Towers in order to make the town and the old market more beautiful.
Problem
Although there is a lot of urban greenery in Gostynin, this space seemed to be monotonous. It was lacking in colourful accents that would break the domination of the green landscape. There are some flowerbeds in the town square but they’re too short to be visible enough.
There is a busy street with the parking lots between the town hall and the square. It means that the centre of Gostynin is often visited by the citizens.
Solution
Providing the Flower Towers into the public space of Gostynin enlivened the colour scheme. The models H1100 isolate the pavement from the street, so the pedestrian zone and the traffic are safely separated.
Two models H1200 ½ have appeared at the entrance of the town hall. The front of the building has been decorated in an aesthetic way. Thanks to it, the municipal authorities of Gostynin created a unique arrangement of the city centre.
